Illinois native, Ray Miller, used to spend his days working as a conservation officer for the Illinois DNR, while also enjoying many hunting pursuits. After retiring, Miller now spends his time as a craftsman designing detailed carvings inspired by his love for wildlife and the great outdoors. His most intricate carvings are of bird feathers, including the wild turkey. Miller was able to donate a few of his carved turkey feathers to a local Illinios NWTF banquet auction.
